I'm a wanderer. I love the field, shoreline and, forest. I explore with my blue heeler for interesting things like feathers, seed pods, bones, and dried flowers. I post about my meanderings, my artisan crafts, my short stories, and any plants and animals that interest me. I'm sure there's a theme in there somewhere, let me know if you find one. www.TheVeiledForest.etsy.com
Look at this rare find! A sweet violet at my local nursery. It’s so fragrant I can’t concentrate on work. I keep running outside to smell it.

Sweet violet was a very popular perfume in the Victorian era but has since almost disappeared from the limelight and is difficult to find in the United States

Lucia Neare’s troop is pretty amazing. I saw their latest performance ‘Professor Pomme’s Pomp and Pastry Paradoxicals’ last night

I thought I’d post some pictures of their last performance ‘Lullaby Moon’. If you’re in the Seattle area I highly recommend supporting this talented troop

“Lullaby Moon 2010 was a free, large-scale, site-specific public performance celebrating the new moon. The spectacular continued the joy and mythology of the 2008-09 series that enchanted thousands of Seattle residents. Lullaby Moon celebrated our precious place in the Milky Way galaxy and the promise inherent in everyone’s dreams.”
