Found this gorgeous green veiling yesterday #veiling #millinery #vintage #art (at Nancy’s Sewing Basket)
I finished a new hat! It features a Raccoon skull I found before leaving Texas which I cleaned and sealed meticulously. I also purchased some amazing french silk veiling from the 1950’s to include with the found feathers and found flowers.
It’ll be up for sale on the website soon!
Did I mention I’m a #scifi fan? I have these #vintage novel covers all over my bathroom walls. #decor #design #gods #kansas (Taken with Instagram)
Just scored a bunch of color slides from the 70s from the dumpster next door. I think they belonged to a doctor, there are the usual vacay pics and then some about vaccinations, asthma, and even an archaeological dig. I have plenty to share so email me if you want a box dancingfoxx@gmail.com
Illustration from Friedrich Johann Justin Bertuch’s picture book for children,
circa late 1700s. Clockwise it features a Basilisk, a Roc, a Phoenix, a Dragon,
the Vegetable Lamb of Tartary, and a Unicorn.
Took a trip with Pinto to Queen Anne and hiked through the green belt. We stopped at this lovely fabric store for vintage ribbon for some new hair bands, french silk veiling for a new hat, and some nice cotton fabric for a new Pinto neckerchief!
Vibrantly coloured butterfly specimens look set to fly away from this heritage-listed Sydney terrace.
